This is great advice that I wholly subscribe to be in my case there is my bipolar mind that wants that instant gratification. You would think that moving back home, there would be a party going on in my savings account, but its not. I have been on my meds and still grapple with impulse buying, and starting a business just ramped that up 1000%. Can you imagine having fun at Office Depot? I can and I even have an account. I have to order my supplies online and take Amia so that I don’t impulse buy. But I am still taking my medication, I have separated my expenses and given myself an allowance to combat the “Shiny Thing” Syndrome of wanting things that I don’t actually need.
Stay tuned….Progress not PERFECTION!!
